Trapped in his own movie

(2022)
When I first heard the name Andrei Catalin Baleanu, it didn't said a lot, later I did a google search to find out who it is this man. I found out that he is a director, that he graduated the same university I do, in the 70s and that he made 3 films, which I later saw. When I have found out that he suddenly gave up dancing at the age of 31 to make films I immediately asked myself why? What determined this man to abandon the thing he theoretically loved the most. Or maybe he didn't love this enough?
How do I realize that I do I want more to succeed in this field? I don't think so either me enough I set out to find out and answer these questions. I know Mr. Andrei, as I call him, and discover a man reconciled with his current situation.
Through this documentary you get to know Andrei Catalin Baleanu, a filmmaker in the shadow of passion, who gave up, at the age of 31, his main passion, film. Why gave up, or maybe something happened, a purpose of this documentary is to answer these questions.
After finishing this project, I realized that it was not my luck to make a successful documentary, the fact that I befriended Andrei is the greatest possible gain, a man with too good a soul. Even after the completion of the film, he and I see each other, I drop by to bring him things, I talk to him about national and international cinema. Somehow he is part of my family, I consider him so.
