Long-distance relationships. A difficult to impossible thing to maintain. This is the main theme of the film, but another important thing that I highlight is the emotional distance that the characters show, and at the end we realize that they weren't even talking to each other. That's how it can happen in some cases, we go on the road with the highest hopes and end up pretending we don't even know each other anymore.

The pain is present through the moment of expectation when the two finally meet but the reality is that we may not want that after a while. The film is from a shared perspective, I wanted there to be a balance between the two people going through this lifestyle and the case of a possible degradation of something that started with the best goals.
